From Here to There
From here to there unfolds as a transnational, year-long program of exhibitions, films, and performances exploring how distance, time, and perception dissolve in the age of accelerated communication. In a world where information spreads at lightning speed and boundaries blur, time itself appears to contract rather than expand. The contemporary individual, fragmented by the constant flow of data and the velocity of modern life, searches for truth behind each new message. What is close to truth has become a matter of interpretation - and intuition. Through this program, international artists traverse both distance and time, responding to a shared moment of transformation.A new generation of artists, shaped by rapid global change and cultural reconfiguration, is forging its own path. Confronted with unprecedented conditions, this generation is called to be inventive, spontaneous, and at times, disarmingly pragmatic. From here to there charts this trajectory, bringing together a series of actions, exhibitions, and performances that highlight and support the creative potential poised to inherit the mantle of contemporary art. Ideas - perhaps even more than their realisations - guide these artistic proposals. Collective spirit and individual ambition intersect within an environment of intense challenges. Artists and curators, sharing the same creative substance, alternate roles in the design and implementation of each project. The result is an explosive blend that finds resonance within today’s cultural landscape.
This generation will help us comprehend what is truly happening now. The question why - remains for us to answer.
